New to the blogging world, I am a teacher living in Northern Virginia. I just completed (today) my sixth year of teaching. I worked with 6th grade students for three years, then changed my teaching life to teach 2nd graders for three years. I have been studying Multilingual Education at George Mason University, which lead to my next education adventure...the world of K-6 ESOL, beginning in August.
I grew up in Rochester, New york. After graduating from SUNY Fredonia, I decided to relocate. Looking back, I am not sure what lead me here. I didn't know many people, had no money or job. I was lucky to find a job at a school that I love.
